Before you spend a single rupee
Install the Facebook Pixel in Settings → Marketing & Tracking. Without it, you're blind — you can't optimise for purchases, retarget anyone, or build lookalike audiences. Free 5 minutes that pays back 100×.
The first Rs 5,000 split
- Rs 2,500 — Engagement campaign to warm up the pixel. Goal: cheap clicks/likes on your best 3 products. Audience: broad Pakistan, age 22–45.
- Rs 2,000 — Conversion campaign optimised for "Add to Cart" or "Purchase". Audience: 1% lookalike of your pixel + interest stack (e.g. "fashion + online shopping").
- Rs 500 — Retargeting. Audience: anyone who viewed a product in the last 14 days. ROAS here is usually 4–8×.
Creative that converts in Pakistan
- Urdu-Hindi captions outperform English captions by ~40% on cost-per-purchase.
- Show the price on the image. Mystery pricing kills CTR.
- Cash on Delivery badge — non-negotiable. Bigger conversion lift than any discount.
- 15-second video beats a static image by 2–3× on engagement. Even a phone-shot demo works.
Metrics that matter
| CTR | ≥ 1.5% on feed, ≥ 2% on Reels |
| CPC | ≤ Rs 8 for cold traffic in Pakistan |
| ROAS | 3× is breakeven (after platform fee + COGS + returns), 5× is profitable, 8× is scaling-fast territory |
Kill rules
An ad that's spent 2× the product price with no purchases is dead. Don't "give it more time" — give the budget to a winner instead.
